Welcome to Good Health and Fitness, my name is Stephen Dale. I am the owner and founder of this special little place.

Over the past 10 years I, along with my team have worked on building a community based training facility that welcomes every one. Our gym provides a space that is suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, whether it is 1 to 1 Training for the seasoned athlete to Group Training Sessions for the complete beginner to advanced. We have you covered. Delivering effective, well considered programmes to our clients, thrusts you towards reaching their fitness goals.

BUT … clearly there is something extra that makes us more than just a gym …

The community is like a family and has gone from strength to strength. Watching it grow and evolve has really been a pleasure. A community that welcomes, supports, adapts and most importantly … encourages growth together.

What to expect

At Good Health and Fitness we provide a clean and safe environment for our team and clients to work in. With well equipped studios, purpose-built for our clients’ needs. We have a one-to-one training studio downstairs and a group studio upstairs with private consultation and therapy rooms which are comfortable and relaxed. We offer a well balanced selection of group training sessions and deliver them throughout the day. Our trainers also offer nutritional advice to ensure a well rounded finish to your fitness plan.

Who are our clients?

Our clients are probably the people who have been bleating in your ear for the past few years about the gym they go to and how good it is. Our GHF Gym Family are our biggest fans and more than happy to share their stories (whether you want to hear them or not!). With over 70% of our members having been with us for more than 5 years, it’s clear that they are keen to stick around.

Our clients are the ones who talk to you in the changing rooms, welcome when you attend your first class and help you with kit when you’re learning something new. They are the ones who will make you feel at ease and part of something bigger, simply by making you feel included.

How do I sign up?

We like to do what we call a Kickstarter Session with each new client, this just gives us a chance to meet you, find out what you are looking to achieve and see how we can best help you reach those goals.

We offer a Free Week Pass allowing you to get a feel for the gym, meet the team and our members and see if it fits for you. We understand that everyone is different and we won’t suit everyone but we would love you to come give us a go.
